Re: Introduce yourself to the community Reply #245 – April 26, 2009, 08:41:44 am Hi everyone,der_Karl from Germany here I've been lurking around quite some time (ever since simutrans 0.82.15.4, at least that's the oldest version I can find here ). It is amazing how much effort everyone here put into this project.I'm not sure how much time I'm actually going to spend writing here on the forum, but surely I'll at least continue reading. Re: Introduce yourself to the community Reply #247 – May 03, 2009, 12:02:02 pm Hi everybody!I am Rainer from Germany. I am a little bit active in the German Forum. For some time I was lurking here, but it seems to be high time to get active here as well. ;-)What kept me from registering here ist the text to be accepted in the register form. WTH do I have to promise not to violate Federal US Law, which is more or less unkown to me and do not affect me? The rest of the text is going without saying. Can anyone of the admins be so kind to have a glance at that text? Do you really expect anyone from anywhere in the world to sign it?Anyway, let us have even more fun with SImutrans! I do praise wholeheartely anyone to helps developing it!RainerPS: I have to admit that lots of option in your backend are quite nice. I.E. the "Don't use graphical smileys" ;-) Quote Selected Last Edit: April 24, 2013, 05:53:26 pm by IgorEliezer

Re: Introduce yourself to the community Reply #251 – May 04, 2009, 12:35:43 am Welcome! In fact, the text is the default forum text. I believe there was discussion in the past about perhaps changing it, but I think the discussion died out...I'll start a discussion with the Devotees about perhaps shortening it and customizing it for our needs... Re: Introduce yourself to the community Reply #270 – June 18, 2009, 06:30:10 pm Hello,I am Dutchman on Rails. People visiting the Transport Tycoon Forums may have seen some posts of me there.I'm a relative newbie to Simutrans. Earlier I have played a bit, but it didn't catch my interest too much. This time I've been playing for almost two months now, and this time I find it more fun playing. If I keep enjoying, I will likely write stories like I did at the TT-forum, or like LeifInge's Big Bucks Bus and Rail. Normally you will find me starting in the 1900's (mostly 1815, the end of the Napoleonic Wars), with mountainous terrain, small hamlets far apart and just enough starting money and traffic potential to get me started. For now I'm taking up LeifInge's Rogaland challenge, so my first story will be about how my company does in that game. Re: Introduce yourself to the community Reply #275 – July 19, 2009, 11:38:09 pm Hey All!I love the whole idea of Simutrans. I found it while searching for a good tycoon game for my iPod Touch. I tried the iPhone version and didn't like it because there was no instructions (might want to work on that ). I looked for instructions online and found the site and downloaded it. I love it and currently use pak64 (although I am looking a pak128). I will try to be active in the community and give suggestions and opinions where ever possible! Quote Selected
