Also, I am a beginner of making buildings. (It's quite tough since I make on Paint.NET and I don't know how to use the freaking Blender.)I usually now use Pak.128 with some addons (from addons.simutrans.com and others like my store). I am quite successful in the goods. P****engers, I use buses, trains... it's good.mod note: post merged, as it's a presentation comment that should go in this topic~vilvoh Quote Selected Last Edit: May 21, 2010, 11:55:30 am by vilvoh

Re: Introduce yourself to the community Reply #358 – May 22, 2010, 05:11:04 pm Hello! I've been playing since yesterday. I am also kinda good at LUA and I am trying to make a minimalistic pakset, (Like PakContrast but with GREEN (not grey) ground.) but I'm terrible at pixel art and need help making the last four pictures. (I made the diagonal ones first) Quote Selected
Re: Introduce yourself to the community Reply #359 – May 22, 2010, 05:32:05 pm @Wofic,STransMaker and JPdude612: Welcome to the community guys! for those who don't know how to use Blender: don't worry at all! pixel art is your way then. Take a look at pak96.comic to discover what you can do only using painting programs. Blender is just another tool to create stuff for Simutrans but it's not the only mean.. Quote Selected

Re: Introduce yourself to the community Reply #368 – May 24, 2010, 07:39:00 am Blender does take a while to learn, but it is very powerful. It also helps people like me who can't draw make many graphics for simutrans. But it isn't the only way. Quote Selected

Re: Introduce yourself to the community Reply #371 – June 30, 2010, 01:47:08 am Hi Everyone!I'm new in the game. Just download it a short while ago and will be installing it in a minute. Thought I would just have a look at the forum and at the same time watch the videos of this game. It looks very promising and interesting to me. I have always liked constructing & building games and therefore this game will fit well in me.I'm looking forward for an exciting and fun journey with Simutrans.Additionally, perhaps I can also make some friends in this community.Nice meeting you guys! I have tried it out. It's very interesting and the game is very well-made. The only thing is that I have to get some info from tutorials in order to build the stuff. I'll figure it out as I play along. Quote Selected
Re: Introduce yourself to the community Reply #374 – July 08, 2010, 10:16:36 am Hi everyone! Thought I'd introduce myself as well I'm Casper, I'm 14 years old, I'm from the Netherlands and I've been playing simutrans for about a year now with mainly pak64, pak96.comic and pak128. Pak128 is my favourite. I already knew my way around with PC's when I was 9 so the custom installation wasn't much of a problem. I usually create a map of 896x896 with a load of big cities and then try to create a bit of a network but somehow whenever I start to create a bit of a network the savefile stops working or I get this m****ive traffic jam. I've been looking around the forum for the last 2 days so I know my way around. Quote Selected

Re: Introduce yourself to the community Reply #380 – July 09, 2010, 08:34:34 am Welcome to the forum raz444!We're trying to collect all addons at http://addons.simutrans.com, but i think noone counted them.Pak 128 has also a lot of objects in it's official release plus there are also many add ons for it. Alltogether i think there is more stuff than for p64.But you can just try any pakset you like, you can always keep the one you had before. You can have several sets installed, there will be a choose-pakset-menu then when you start simutrans.fixed link -- VS Quote Selected Last Edit: July 09, 2010, 08:53:29 am by VS
